The Slow Food Youth Network joins forces for the second World Disco Soup Day. An international event and campaign to fight against food waste! 

From Uganda to Japan, Brazil to the Netherlands, SFYN will organize parties where foodwaste will be turned into a disco soup. Last year we turned more than 5000 kilograms of foodinto 25,000 meals. Over a hundred Disco Soups were organized, in 40 countries, across 5 continents.

However, we like to emphasize that this day is more than just a protest party. It's about connecting young food activists all around the planet and calling society’s attention to foodwaste as an enormous global problem.

At present, more than 70 events will be host all over the world!
